Tire size on 20's

Thinking of going with some 20's pretty soon if I sell my car. I been looking and what tire size is everyone running on 20's? The only thing I can find is a 305-40-20 and I think it was just one brand. Thanks

I run a 295/45R20 on my truck. There are a few brands you can choose from. The only down side to this size tire is that is measures 30" instead of 28".

295/40-20 is the best fit. www.tirerack.com and search by size.

When you shop for 20s, pay attention to the minimum rim width for the tires (for 295s, usually 9.5" or so). www.tirerack.com has full specs.

I am going with 20 x 11 in the rear with a 315/35 and a 20 x 9 with a 275/40 in the front. 30mm offset for the rear(11 inch rim) and 15mm offset in the front(9inch) rim. I am going to go with the Yokohama Advan ST.

Boze Forged 20x9.5 front with 275/40-20 and 20x11 rear with 315/35-20, went with Michelin Diamaris over the pirellis (poor wear) or the yoko's (lack of feedback and very high treadwear number)

Very nice pitstain. I may go with the Ze forged 3 piece. Love the lip on your rims. What was your offset for your front and rear Boze?

thankyou smeltz,

the front offset is 5.8 like stock and the rear is 6.25, the reason for the rear offset was to get the rims to fill out a bit more, because I felt the stock offset looked too tucked in......not bad like an s10 extreme but I like a bit wider bmw'ish stance.....the tires will still just clear the wheelwells too if I hit a really nasty bump.
