PSP filter kit
I ordered a filter kit on March 20th and I want to know if it is worth the wait. 4 months has past and I am getting to the end of my patience. Is anyone else waiting also? What are my other options? Thanks for your replies.

It is only worth the wait if you demand high quality. If you can tolerate lesser quality there are others out there. God(or so I've been told) will sell no filter before its time.

Get an Airaid with the Big Mouth cone filter. You'll notice the HP and the scream of the supercharger is great

I agree with Fordsales. I was not willing to wait. I also had a problem with someone allegedly in business that would not answer my inquiries. I thought, "gee, what if I have a problem, I will probably get the same response -none." The Airaid is high quality. I also have the bigmouth filter on mine.

I had a downs kit and it worked fine but the quality wasn't very good so I wouldn't recommend one. I now have a Pro-M with a MAF and it provided better results than just a filter. I am very pleased with the quality and hp gains - about 22 RWHP over stock. There's my .02

I also played the waiting game for the filter. And I just wanted to place an order. After giving up, I placed an order for the airaid kit at the online store here. I recieved the kit in approx. a week after ordering it. I found it to be a well made kit and I like the box that keeps the engine heat out and it lines up with the "ram-air" off the fender. As far as a chip is considered, I placed a phone call to PSP for a chip, been two weeks and no reply. Iam glad I didn't leave a credit card #, as I had a couple questions. Iam sure its a great product and worth the money, but I want a chip now. Superchips here I come.

It was $289. You can order it from Houston Performance. If you search Pro-M, I am sure you can find their phone number, I don't remember it but let me know if you can't find it.

I have the Airaid box now, but without the BigMouth filter. To me, the Airaid box just doesn't seem to 'fit' in the engine bay.
Don't get me wrong - the box physically fits fine under the hood without any probelms, but I think it's too big and imposing... sorta takes attention away from the big V8. I'd rather have the more stock look of the PSP filter kit, so that's why I'm waiting. Otherwise, the Airaid kit works just fine, and maybe just as well, for now.
Anyone interested in buying my Airaid once I get my PSP filter (who knows when that might be though)?
