Success w/ in-truck hard-drive camcorders?

All,
I fabbed a bracket to mount my hard drive camcorder to for in-truck cam at road course events. However the vibration flakes out the camcorder and it won't record. It was relatively rigidly mounted and I think I need to have some kind of isolated / damped mounts. Has anyone had success with hard drive camcorders and if so what mounts are you using?

Thanks in advance!

Here's one I made myself. I mounted it to the roll bar and used foam rubber around the bar to help dampen the vibration. Haven't used it yet so I dont know how well it's gonna work yet.

Here's a pic.

I bought one of these www.stickypod.com but i dont have a Hard Drive camcorder. On my regular camcorder it works with no problem and no excessive vibrations.
