Bad DAKOTA,
YEs you are right ,This is the internet. The difference in here is we do not start trouble in here so if you would like to start arguments and pi$$ing contest dont bother in here.It will not be tolerated. It takes a real ignorant person to make a comment like you did/When you go to the track,Do you look for fights?Nobody should.Who cares if people walk around with their habnds in their pockets.OH>WHat is everybody supposed to act all macho like its their track??? I dont think so/That is one good thing about tracks,Usually everybody is friendly not looking for a confrontation. The problem arises when people like you go their with something to prove and when smoked,You would take all offense to it.I will say and I dont care if I get flamed or not.Us lightning owners are usually the most friendly people at the track.Dodge boys usually feel like they have something to prove.........Oh yea I forgot Since the 60s they havnt had anything that will prove anything!..I must have forgot. But anyway this is a informational forum,I can see where you are coming from and truth is no need for macho ***** here!

Just what are you talking about? Nobody started any trouble. Chuck offered an explanation of what happened and a challenge, nothing more. Why do you feel threatened by that?
The only ones who started trouble were the ones who personally attacked what he drives. He responded in kind like any of us would.

You are sooo off base here. You misunderstood my point, let me clarify it for you, free of charge.
The same people who talk smack, cut down other people's rides, etc are the ones who won't say anything when they then realize they may have to actually back it up on the spot. Maybe the word, "confronted", scared you. I did not mean any type of hostile confrontation just a polite challenge(like I always do at the track). I want consistency in people.

"The problem arises when people like you go their with something to prove and when smoked,You would take all offense to it"

If you ever saw my truck run, you would know I have nothing to prove.
Dude, I have been beaten more times then I can tell you about. If you race a truck, you better be prepared to lose... a lot!

"Dodge boys usually feel like they have something to prove.........Oh yea I forgot Since the 60s they havnt had anything that will prove anything!..I must have forgot"

I could answer this in so many different ways. You again are reinforcing my point. Who is starting trouble here? Another backdoor attack on what he/I choose to drive.

Cool

Just got back from a four-day bike trip in the Hill Country! Four inches of rain in Kerrville on Friday afternoon sent us to the Days Inn for one night. I am so relaxed, not even the Dakota boys can get me going. For the record.

FAST DAK -

The "spanking" you are refering to was a direct quote from a thread that Wyldman initiated on 2-5-00.

https://www.f150online.com/f150board...ML/001542.html

You are evidently still having a hard time dealing with the events of that evening because in my recent mentioning of that night at HRP...

Hey Chuck -
Since you seem to be the only one with some credibility on this thread (N2O must be powerful stuff), member, member..... member when I took this picture at HRP and like Nathan ran a 13.241, and like I was the slowest guy at 13.302, and like you broke the sound barrier at 12.857 and spanked that little green Dodge Dakota (with the crate motor) twice?

That was awesome.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I did not use your name (although I could have) allowing you to remain anonymous if you wished. And obviously, Wyldman did not break the sound barrier that night. And for the record, my dad can beat up your dad.

Of course everyone knows the only fair way to race is "Stock for Stock".

Hello all..

Sometimes it can get silly but, it is always fun to have a rivalry between cars like this.. It was like this with my Grand National and the Mustang crowd..

One thing that still makes me happy is our trucks are still pretty new.. People have made them quick.. but there is surely alot more to come.. I'm still waiting for the first stock block 11 sec 99 Lightning..

It will come..

I have an easy way to settle this. Let's set up a time and place for a rematch. You live close to the Houston area 6 pipes as does Wyldman. No money needs to be involved. Chuck is a nice guy. No one needs to feel threatened. How about it 6 pipes, you up for it?

I would hardly say 300+ miles to HRP is close (Texas is a big state ya know). Besides, Fast Dak's little green truck is faster than my Lightning. Remember? I was the slowest Lightning at HRP that night when Wyldman went 2-0. If I wanted to go fast, I'd get me a mini-truck and put a V-8 in it just like you did. I'm content with the performance of my truck just the way it is. I have nothing to prove. Sorry.

I just thought the way you ran your mouth you'd like the challenge, but I can see when push comes to shove you suddenly snap back into reality.
Mini truck, pleaseee. It came with a v8 dude. Secondly, I believe mine can tow 5000 lbs, just like your fullsize.

Sounds good to me. Oh, unless there's a Star's game on. Took a move to Texas before they learned how to win ya know.

Big Poppa

The 11 second goal has already been reached. High risk just did it and his block is stock as far as internals. He has a little squirt of NOS, but there ain't anything wrong with that.

The next goal should be 11.xx's without NOS
