Cool

Sorry it took me a while to respond. I just got back from the Texas HEAT Wave in Austin about an hour ago.

I had my suspension installed at a shop in Mansfield. It was the only DFW authorized Roush shop at the time. I'll see if I can find the information and post it for you.

I'm deep sixing the sixpipes handle and picking up my Texas personalized plate name.

Thanks for the reply. So far in the DFW Metro area I came up with Bankston Ford. They want $1500 for the parts and $500 for installation. I told them the installation seemed high for 6 hours work. They are supposed to get bck to me Monday with a new quote hopefully. The parts price sounded like full retail. I've seen the parts kit mail order from a place called Pegasus for about $1100 + shipping. But I'm with you on the strategy to preserve the warranty by having the Ford/Roush dealer do it.

Bankston is proud of thier work. And dont be so sure if they put Ford ( Or Roush ) parts on it will protect the warranty. They told me that I got a 12 month warranty when they put the 3.73 gears in, I figured it should still be covered under 3/36 Powertrain but they said NO.

What parts are included in the Quote you received ? I am interested in some of thier parts but want to pick and choose....

Doug

Doug,
The kit includes front coil springs, rear leaf springs, and Bilstein shocks (supposed ly valved for this kit). I heard there should be front bump stops as well. I need to verify that when I talk to them tommorrow again.

What did they charge you for the 3.73 conversion?

Shocks and springs are a pretty straighforward install .... NO warranty means any body can do it. I paid a fortune for the install. The labor was not the worst part - THE Parts really added up, bearings races, friction modifier.......................................... ........................................
.................................................. .................................................. ................................... on and on .................................................. .................................
I will have to look it up but figure $500 + for parts and $360 + for labor
