Calling All Ontario Lightning Owners
WHAT04,
How's it goin eh? I havn't been to my home town Toronto since about 1974. Boy I bet it has changed. In the Late 60's-early 70's I grew up in Scarborough, my Father owned an apartment complex on 1299 Danforth Road. Then in 72 we moved to Agincourt, back then that was in the boonies--I bet that is downtown now. I need to make a trip out there sometime and visit my relatives. Hey is Lake Simcoe still there?
Nice pics.

Tim.....I now remember exactly where that is! Yet, I never have been to that show. I would love to join you sometime, problem is, I have summer hockey on Wed. evenings at this time. We should try some time though. I usually have a break in Sept/end of August and that show should be running for a while there.
Hopefully I will see you on Sunday though!

I went to a car show last night and I was the only Lightning there. What a great show. It's held at the Mapleview Mall in Burlington every Wednesday night throughtout the summer.
Yesterday, with the crappy forecast for weather, they still had approximately 350 cars there. It's huge for a weekly event. There is no entry fee but tickets are sold for a 50/50 draw each week, trying to raise money for a Red Cross bus.
Anyway, I thought that this might be a great opportunity to get get us all together for the first time and strut our stuff. If we get there early enough, we can park together. Believe me, the Lightning draws a lot of attention. I was parked in the rear corner as I arrived rather late.
What do think? Let's pick a week and be there!!!

Boy oh boy Tim....
Looks like it's just the two of us. We have ALL the trucks up here but no owners....how depressing. Oh well....we can start the OLGx2....Ontario Lightning Group with 2 inaugural members.....
With all of them at the dealers, they have to be going somewhere....

Kind of a passive bunch ain't we?!? I've even been contacted by other Lightning owners as a result of this board. Go figure!
