You know something people, I get home from a night at the track to see this. This is BULL***** you DAMN guys with the additude problems should really be proud of yourselves. Sal has even hepled YOU out at times in the past. But no, your life in not complete unless your ragging on PSP products, Why? do they not work? Are you not getting enough at home? Do all these L's that run PSP products bull***** about their E.T.'s?....... Yes it takes some time to get the products, is that a reason to insult and bash everything positive that is said about PSP? I still Dont freakin' get it.But you know what, you guys are going to miss all the tech that Sal was able to give each and every one of us.You new guys may think I am over reacting, but you know what? IT DOESN'T MATTER what you think. But of course it was bound to happen,what ever. Well, I too am sad to see the one who actually knows a little about these trucks leaving. Yet as much as it is the fault of the ignorant who blame and tease is it those of us with pride. Damn that pride. I mean if it werent for this then the discussion of who has the best would not be such a big deal. I guess I look at it differently than most do. If everytime a new product comes out and it is compared with mine, then this is the ultimate form of flattery. It shows that everyone knows of your stuff and everyone has to compare to your products.
Back to the idea at hand though, I think Sal is a very proud man and takes even more pride in the product he produces, as would anyone who takes the time to create something, esp one that is highly reviered. This is why it has been so easy for him to get worked up when the high school bulleys come around and get him going. Funny thing is, Sal could have probably just ignored it all and went about his business and they would have stopped, but then the faithful would have dogged him for not standing up for his product. Aint life grand.

Well Sal, congrats on what you have done and good luck with your future, I will still be waiting to purchase your products as they become available.

I agree 100% with Spiro, and this is why I have not talked about my business and posted alot here. Nobody and I mean Nobody has done more for the performance of these trucks 1st and 2nd gen then Sal! Sal will go out of his way to help those that need help with there trucks. I will still see Sal at our local trucks but for the other people he will be really missed. I really feel the people should treat others the way they like to be treated and stop all this crap on this board and those that are causing the problems should be banned. We all love are trucks and if we all work together instead of bickering and finger pointing all the time we could make them even better.

I personally will miss your posts and I don't even own a Lightning. You have explained to me more than anyone the inner workings of getting the most performance from these vehicles.

The "sour grapes" attitude and schoolyard comments by a couple posters regarding your work was taken for what is was by most of us.

Sal, you get ragged on because you are the standard to beat. Only a real moron rags on the underdog, it's not PC(hate that term). The whole board will miss you. If not for all the help you've given, then because they have one less person to kick around. Though I haven't purchased any of your products yet, I've seen the performance gains on other members trucks with your stuff. I respect your your knowledge of these trucks and know you make high quality products. I've enjoyed all of your posts and meeting you at WFC. I look forward to seeing you there again next year. I hope to make it to the get together at Norwalk in Ohio in September, hope you can come too. Best of luck with your businees and decisions made.

But you must remember, if you live by the sword, you die by the sword.
You elected to post here and discuss your products. I have no intention of getting into that arguement. The facts are that if you break the speed limit you can get a ticket and this board has rules too(whether you like them or agree with them) that have to be obeyed if you (anyone) wants to stay.
As for the personal attacks on your business practices you should be tough enough to handle that and I'm sure you are.

Although I have never purchased any of your products, I have seen and run against them and I know they are of the highest quality and you really put your heart into their development. That is why I have defended you at times against what I considered to be real bullsh@#. I have enjoyed and been enlightened by your many informative post, including your last on wiring the intercooler pump.

Sal, I also believe that you should reconsider this decision. I feel that you have contributed more to this board than any one member has.

I strongly support Steves thinking on this issue in that this is not the place to be selling your product or comparing your product to other vendors. You seem to have a loyal folowing here that will still be here if you still choose not to return. Let them do the talking for you, and let your website convey the information that you want to about your business.

Again, reconsider......

 

Thx for all of the help and advice in the past and present Sal. It's a shame to see you leave due to the actions of a few. However, one makes a choice and I respect that. It has really been nice having your opinions around here. I haven't found them biased IMHO and in general have really appreciated your insight and development of our beasts.
