Cool Kelley Blue Book Value

I was checking to see if there was a used car value for my '00L but apparently there is not enough info yet. I checked the value of a '99L with 12,000 miles and was totally surprised that the L is valued at approximately $38,000 retail and $32,000 wholesale. Does this mean that the '00L is valued at over $40,000?

Are you sure you did it correctly??

A used 99 L at wholesale should not be worth more than a brand new 00 at MSRP.

Talking

Now all we have to do is convince Ford to drop the power on the 2001, paint it pink, add some stripes and our values will really soar!

F150 PICKUP 1/2 Ton V8
Flareside Lightning 6 3/4'
Weight: 4,670
Acceptable Mileage Range: 26,000 - 30,000
Low Retail: $25,400
Average Retail: $27,900
High Retail: $29,775

The above prices are from the NadaGuide.

Wholesale would be a lot less than the above retail prices. Maybe $4,000 lower making a 99 L worth around $20,000-$22,000 A.C.V. to a dealership as a trade in.

when i go to a dealer to buy a vehicle if i can't knock off atleast 3-4000 off the sticker then i don't buy! so that tells me a little about the prices of dealers. so who knows mine could be worth nothing or a million LOL ! thanks for all the info.

It's always tough when you try to value a "limited production" vehicle (at least by today's standards its limit. prod.) that is so new.

It will really vary from region to region. The fact is that around the DFW area once the '99 deliveries were done (back in Sept. '99) and the new '00 wasn't to actually hit the showroom til Feb/Mar of '00, the price of a USED '99 was higher than the original sticker...and the dealers here were getting it.

That's probably where a lot of these values are coming from. Once the '00s hit the streets, the '99 prices came back down. Right now there is a dealer just north of Dallas that has 2 new '00s on the lot. There's no '99 around here that will go for original sticker, that's for sure.

Its hard to do resale on a vechicle like these/Those outragous #s are exactly that. These trucks are worth more to us owners than what can be typed in a Nada guide.Realistcally without any emotion,When the 2000s are done being built, the prices should be around these:
99 15,000 miles wholesale.acv....$22,700

99 ............. retail...........$27,995

2000...............wholesale.acv...$24,300

2000...............retail..........$29,995
