Just got back from Superchips in Longwood. Got the CUX2 upgrade. WOW! This is going to be an expensive ordeal. The upgrade was FREE but my Chiropractor bills are going to skyrocket.

Got my little bundle of joy from Mike T. a couple of weeks ago....

 

ToyMan - You just have to learn to back out of the garage faster. That way you can throw everything out of place before you start, and back in when you take off. Mines in the box and will be on it's way tomorrow. I'm going to leave the R2 in position 2 and get the R7 in position 1.

TBL - as fast as he's getting, he may only need one or two more upgrades! I think is his case it's older but faster.

 

Toyman:

Exactly what upgrade is the one you have. Is it the new racing one? I live locally to Superchips, and if it is an upgrade worth having, I can get to them quite readily. What exactly is the difference, and are we talking a 99 or 2000 L?

It is the CUX2R7 for the 2000 L. They have a TRAC version for the 99 L's but I think it behaves a little different than the one I have.

I spoke to Mike Wed. The program we have is the latest street version for a 99. You can get the never been used stock position setup with the race program. It changes the torque converter and shift settings (I don't remember if it can be used w/ 93 gas) and should not be used for a lot of street driving. Mike can fill you in on the details .
