All I can say is, I sure would do it again.

Yes, you will have to use driver skill, not just mash the gas

I think some one say the 2001's will have the 3.73, to bad they didn't go with 4.10's

Good luck Jim, hope you find someone in your area.

That is it EXACTLY

I have been considering changing over to 4.10 for sometime now. Infact, I was going down to buy the gears today. BUT I have seen a few posts that state it is a waste if one does not take the L to the strip or if I like to burn rubber for a block, it would be great.

Bottom line is this: I would love to feel more of a pull from 20 MPH to 80 MPH. Not just a "I think it is better" but I KNOW it is better.

To me it would be a waste of approx. $800.00 if I don't get that kind of a feeling. PLUS if there isn't that big of a difference, I don't want to fight Ford over warranty problems.

I don't mind the $800 and warranty problems if there is going to be a good difference.

That is my dilemma?????????????????

So, I thought that if someone out there made the change, they might give me a QUICK ride.

I know that Alphadoggy in Nothern. Calif. has just changed over. After he has had Swanson re-burn his chip for the 4.10's, I'll have to call him and drive up and see his L.
