SVT replacement certificate?

SVT replacement certificate?

Since there is no more SVT, where might I get a replacement certificate for my lightning??

Call 1-866-377-8862. That is the replacement certificate phone number. They will want your vin number and get your name and address. I think the charge is like $40. The address for it is http://www.svtoa.com/contact.aspx hope this helps.

That was back in the old days - now that SVT is 'officially' gone, they feel they can charge for it.

Not sure what the rules are right now, but I got one for my used 1999 Lightning just 4-5 months ago. Things may have changed though.

I called SVT in April, I believe. I got my certificate not too long after.

When did SVT officially close the doors?

There was a downsize/shift through out Ford but there is still 30 people who are part of the SVT group and was told by one that there is a SVT truck in the works again. He didn't refer to it as Lightning, but when asked what platform he said F150.

They do charge $40 now for the certificates. ($30 if SVTOA member, which is currently free to sign up)
