I lost about 4 of his motors too!!!

I lost one motor from him. Out about 8k+ He knew of all the problems and did nothing. Also had the motor torn down, guess what was found. I paid for a new block but the block was from a 97

 

I thought Tommy was selling used 3 legged furniture , eggs and shoes, according to his old website.

 

I ordered a dozen bagels from him and I ended up sending them back. Every one had a hole in them! (like his longblocks)

 

Thanks for the heads up. but didn't anyone take any legal action against him?

I remember the days of people claiming to see him walk on water and praise him to no end. I myself have learned that just like everything else in life when it comes to building an engine you get what you pay for.

Even though the big 3 have problems every now and than they are still around for a reason.

i had a few cars tuned by tommy over the past two years . the one thing i found out is that his tunes run on the lean side when checked on a dyno.
he does his tuning by data logging instead of the dyno.
if you have one of his tunes i would have it checked.

 

I got a good agressive tune from tommy and my motor did not let go.

 

Tommy tuned my truck with the stock block@ 12psi plus a 100 shot of N2O and I never had a problem. I ran it like that for a year running 12.0x's
