Any L owners in FL in the SpringHill/Brooksville area?

 

I am not in Spring or Brooks but I am in the Tampa area. I know of 5 L owners (4 other than me) that go to the Desoto Speedway in Bradenton. There are at least three of us there every week it seems. 2 Sarasota, 1 St. Pete, 1 Oldsmar, 1 Arcadia. These are just L owners I have met in the last 3 weeks.

I'm in Oldsmar and was at Desoto a couple of weeks ago with Toyman and another guy but I can't remember what his name is. I think I remember Toyman saying that he gets up that way in his Red L.

I ran across a Sliver L in Clearwater last weekend but couldn't catch up to him , I was in the wife's slow-mobile.

I live in Lake Mary, FL and run down at Orlando Speedworld in Bithlo about twice a month. Don't see too many L owners in these parts.

 

TBL - I'm up for something in July, after the 4th. I'd really like to see your L in person. I've seen your pics and it looks very nice. I'm getting my sound system done on Monday but haven't decided on what subs to put in. I've looked at the MTX like yours but it seems like a bunch to put in a reg cab. Also can't wait to see how your new hood looks after it's on.

2000Black - We're headed over that way on Friday and then on to Daytona for the race this weekend. I'm not taking the L over into that mess.

There are several Lighting owners in the South Florida area, i.e.: Miami, Fort Lauderdale area.

Several of us meet every Friday at the car show location in western Fort Lauderdale off I-595 and University Drive. It is not un-common for there to be anywhere from 10 to 15 Lightning’s there every Friday evening.

I’m sure if you and other want to have a weekend get-together there would be a few from the South Florida area that would enjoy it too!

Thanks for the offer. That's alot of Lightnings in one place. Would be nice to see.

Hwy:

Ronnie Setser has a Best of the Best car show in N. Tampa the first Saturday night of the month. Usually 400+ cars & trucks.
I've taken 1st. Place Truck for the last two months in a row. Going for a third this Sat. night. Other Saturdays still have a ton of vehicles. Would be an excellent place for a Lightning Club to meet.

Right now the Mustang club sorta tolerates my truck(25+ cars). It's not a Mustang but it's an SVT vehicle. They normally save me a spot up front.
Nice group. Alot of car clubs meet there. Tons of old cars too.

SHM:

If you don't have plans on Sat. night, stop by and introduce yourself. My wife and I are normally out there by 5:00.

Thanks for all the responses!!! I was asking so I could let my dad know. He just recently bought his Silver L up here in MI and drove it back home to SpringHill. He said he very rarely see's any other L down there. I wanted to let him know of some of you that may be near him. I'm going to print this out and get it to him, since he is not into the computer stuff YET!
