Which bed cover (hard) to go with!
I like how the ARE-II size increases the agressive look of the truck...
I didn't want the plastic trim showing...the only other lids up above in these showings I like is the other white one with the wing and the ******* one... thats the first low-profile one I saw that looks nice.
Most of the low-profile ones are kinda ugly.

Cost of the ARELSII 1,050(already painted) including the wing(225)
RobG's lid was close to 1,300 he had to have it painted(400)Damn,i forget what style that is,maybe he'll come on here tonight see it and speak up!He has had some problems getting his lid to close right though. The 2 lock system seems to aggrivate him,one would lock while the other wouldnt cooperate.
SilverBullet,
It looks much better in person.

I priced the ******* for $430 and $100 bucks to have it painted to matched. They told me it would be $70-80 bucks for freight and take about two weeks for delivery. I think $600 would be a good deal if it looks like RobG's. Any more pics from others?

I got that price quote from Autobahn Wholesale Inc. (Truckin mag.) and I spoke with Gene at ext.053. He told me 430 on the top and 100 to be painted. Give him a call. Maybe a GP could get started?

I have the ARE cover. Form and fit are perfect, piano hinge is class hw, and the sculptured top gives a nifty and distinctly different look, much more appealing to me than that of the flat covers. This is especially true with a 2" drop kit; the cover and drop go together to make the stance of the truck appear "right on".

frogman: Where did you get a quote of $430 for the ******* tonneau? I contacted ******* and they wouldn't give me a quote, just the dealer in my area. I live near Charlotte, NC and there's only 1 dealer around here where I can get this cover. They quoted me $698 for the cover, $250 to have it painted and $100 for installation.
