Do they offer decent trade-in value? I have a 1999 L and found a newer Harley truck that I'm interested in at Carmax...

Anyone trade their L in the past with them?

 

I "sold" a vehicle to them a few years ago since they offered me $2000 more than two other dealers that I checked with.

Certainly you will do better with a private sale though...

 

I work for carmax and i would say that your better off doing a private sale because someone that wants what you have will pay more for it than carmax will offer you what its worth. Definately get an apprasial though, its free why not.
