Knock, knock. Who's there? A pickup truck
ROCKAWAY TWP. -- An 18-year-old Rockaway man was charged early this morning with drunken driving and other offenses after he drove his 2000 Ford pickup into a Sioux Avenue house shortly before 3 a.m.
Police said Nicholas Galofaro veered off the roadway and crashed through a fence before striking the home around 2:55 a.m. Galofaro ran from the scene, but police found him around 4:30 a.m. in the back of another truck parked nearby.
He was charged with underage DWI, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident, reckless driving, driving with a provisional license, failure to notify of a change of address and using a cell phone while driving.
Rockaway Township firefighters said the truck landed fully inside the living room of the house at 46 Sioux Ave., coming to rest on top of a couch. Firefighters with White Meadow Lake Co. # 5 hosed down the couch, which was smoldering due to the heat of the pickup's engine.

Well lets see, there was the July Vacation... and now I'm on my Aug Vacation ...
Was hoping to get to NJ for some passes this week in the Stang, but I'm running out of days here. If I make it in the next couple I'll let you know,
otherwise all is well and your missing all the pool weather over here, come on down....
