Cool Lightning must not be an F150!

I didn't know the L was not an F-150. I mean if it was an F-150, surely quite a few of these posts would not be in this section. Let's get real here. I can't even count the number of speaker and stereo posts I have seen in this forum, and I log on here today and see a post about window cleaning. I didn't know the Lightning windows were special enough to be different from any other kind of F150 window glass!!

Sorry for the sarcasm guys and gals, but there are other sections on this board. The Lightning forum gets a ton of posts compared to some of the other sections and I truly enjoy reading them, but because some of the posts are really off subject, I miss some information that could be valuable.

The Lightnings are special trucks, but they have the same hoods, lights, spearker sizes and locations....etc...etc.... as many other F150 trucks. If you have some information or questions that are or could be relevant to other members of this site it would really be more beneficial to other members and other Lightning owners to post it in the correct category.

That way if I am looking for performace question help on a Lightning, I won't have to wade through hundreds of posts on waxing techniques or stereo information to find what I am looking for. In the same respect if you are a L owner looking for information on something like toneau covers or aftermarket hoods, you could get better responses if you post those things in the proper category where someone that might not necessarily read the L forum because the don't have an L can see it to respond to it.

Just makes a little common sense....

There is a "Comments and Suggestions" sections on this site. Maybe you should post your complaint there.

Chris

I don't know about all the others but as for me, I will post all to my L Board. Don't need any other.

I agree with you Chris 100%. Alot of these Lightning owners don't look at any other forum, my brother included. If they think that they are that special, then they are the ones missing out on a lot of valuable info. Let the flaming begin.

Why is it that it's always somebody that wishes they had a Lightning is trying to stir the pot. They read all of these posts, then complain about it. Just leave well enough alone!

Funny, I don't remember anyone in the Lightning area complaining about missing out. Sounds to me like the ones that don't come into this forum to find out what's going on are the ones missing out.

2000regcab54 - Pay a visit to some other boards. You will see that a lot of the people in this forum post at other sites as well.

I think you'll find that alot of us walk on both sides of the fence(not a sexual inference).

We've posted on your side, and I think I can speak for most of us when I say this, you guys are more than welcome to post here.

Chill out......

TBL - I'll thank you to stay on your own side of the fence I just dumped some of that secret window cleaner on my side and I don't want you to get it on your shoes. I'm really upset now that I know this is just an F150. LOL

I nominate Chris Thomas as the crossover information person. Whenever he finds something here that would possibly pertain to our F150 bretheren he could post it to the correct category. Anyone want to second this?

Easy Killer! We're just giving y'all a hard time. As Lightning owners, we all have this place in common. We hate having to jump all around the website to find information just as much as y'all do. You like to be able to find stuff on your board. We like to be able to find stuff on our board. It all boils down to the fact that it is a lot easier to come to the Lightning board, look for 5 or 10 minutes, and find all of the new info in one place. It would take WAY too long to have to hop around and check every little post on every one of these boards for new information. Y'all want what we have...you know where to find it.
