Mine are going next month along with all the emblems, tailgate latch, gas filler and rear step of the stepside. Shaving handles isnt too expensive, you just need the solenoids and the "poppers." A decent shop can do it for around 400, give or take, w/ all the hardware, w/o paint.

Man, you must be pissed. Did you ever find the guys who stole your springs? You can probably press charges or even sue for damages if you find them. Good luck.

Damn that is sweet... Anyone do anything like that on a L yet? I want airbags bad but will i lose performance besides the weight? Will the truck be safe still? What do i need to squash a L on the ground like that? Can i do it with my 18's with lower profile tires?

Damn i need AIRBAGS !!

Why would anyone want to do that to a Lightning?

IMO, laying frame is for trucks that are all show and no go.

Well i have always loved lowriders, I have had 3 mazdogs, 2 s-10s, and a toyota, never really understood lift kits =). If i could lay my L like that and still keep the performance i would do it in a second. Thats the big question though can i do it and keep the performance.

I hadn't thought of shaving the door handles, thanks.

I did cut the radio antenna in half and it took .001 sec off my 1/4 mile time.
