1st KB run on new setup/stock block

Last night was my first trial run on the new KB setup to see what it would do. The track conditions were not ideal. Temp was 98 degrees with 88% humidity. We had about 6-7 L's running with the Need2Speed gang.

I only ran on my street tune as to not push it. I was running 15psi and only 14 degrees timing. Think I could have gotten close to the 11-mark on my race tune....but with the heat...wasn't sure.

1st...............2nd
RT .312...............370
60' 1.669.............1.675
330 4.995............4.998
1/8 7.699.............7.760
MPH 89.83.............89.45
1000 10.186............10.215
1/4 12.223............12.265
MPH 109.84.............109.82

Here is the video of my second run. I am in the far right lane (video quality not that good).

dude, that is smoking in this heat. Living in Gville, I barely drive my truck this time of year because its so friggin hot, and you're pulling 12.2x on a stock block? To say Im impressed is an understatement.

very nice Chad!!

Was that Mike (Batman99) you raced? Would have been fun to go, but the heat sucks. I spent almost 5 hours detailing the wifes new Murano this past Saturday......had enough of the heat.

Yea..the heat does suck. It was pulling timing out all the way down the track.

So hot...that after an hour....my engine wasn't any cooler than when I pulled in

But yes...alot of fun. And the guy I was racing...his name is Tim (Towman)

Do you cool it down with fans between runs?

Al...was good to meet you in Clearwater at Winghouse. To answer you....no....but I need to. I am going to do the setup you have with wiring the intercooler and fans. And then hook up some fans. That should help.

Not that I am aware of. There was the race last Saturday and then a gathering at the Winghouse on Sunday. Can definitely ask around though

Hey Ron...thanks. Yes...I belive that on my race tune I "might" have been able to squeak an 11 in there...but didn't want to push it.

BTW...one day my truck will look as good as yours. That is one sweet ride

Quit being modest. Your truck is awesome! I appriciate the compliment though.
