Where to wire ground for electric gauges?

Where to wire ground for electric gauges?

Installing an Autometer electric boost gauge. Where do you guys wire the neg. (ground) on the MAP sensor?

Any metal part of the dash frame will work. There is also a ground screw to the body under the driver's kick panel (it's green). That's what I like to use.

the engine grounds to the body and frame, so using one in the cab is equivalent.

I put the MAP sensor under the dash. It's a nice spot, since you can just tap right off the factory boost line tee. Then grab all your power and ground wires under there.

O.k. thanks guys, I'll just make it easy and ground to one of the screws on the dash then.

Thats where I have my MAP Sensor too.

Thats the Baro Sensor right? Why put it inside the truck?

No, no, no... They are talking about the add on MAP sensor that's used with electric boost gauges.
