Post Traction Control on the L's

Can somebody please explain to me how it works? I was told by my dealer, it was the same as the Thunderbird, but did not know how it worked? Our Cobra has a on/off switch, which is cool.. Wish the L has one...

when sensor detects a tire/wheel starting to slip, it pulls power/timing via the computer.

Question

Traction Control?
I hope you mean the Limited-Slip Differential.

Other wise it is called using your head.

Ain't no fool traction control on MY machine! Sounds like the dealer should read the brochure.

Papa did say "i wish the L had one".
actually the ones that you can turn on and off are pretty nice for rain and ice, if you have a heavy foot.

My man MRBBQMAN is right one on the traction control. Had it in my stinkin Lincoln and it was the cats meow on ice. It would be nice to have it on my Bolt, but I honestly doubt I would ever turn it on.

Hey, people have figured out a way to install lots of things in these trucks that didn't come from the factory. Maybe someone will figure out how to add this and post it. I still have $1.37 left to spend. LOL

Cool

Send me your $1.37, Hwy, and I will send you some traction control. I need a larger anchor for my new boat, anyway.

No traction control, but I think Papa was talking of a switch to turn it off on the L. I wouldn't mind it myself, being that I have to drive it in the winter.

Thumbs down

Traction control may be great for F1 racers, but it s*cks for the street. I forgot to turn it off a few times in the past on my Cobra and it almost got me killed (gotta stop pulling out in front of BIG trucks). Even worse, it kills any decent powerslide.

a good traction control system will allow 99.9% power to the wheels, and only negate the slightest amount that will cause the wheel to spin. i have a very good one on my GS400 and can easily get the jump on my lightning wet or dry.
