Question How to find a Tool to get the Radio out

Can someone let me know where to buy a tool to do this.
A Ford mechanic said Snap-on had them but I can't find them anywhere in a new catalog I jut received.

I need to remove the radio and have the bezel chromed etc.

Thanks

Try crutchfield and any local audio store, for sure they'll have them.

I've bent paperclips and used that before. At the very end I put a 90 degree tiny bend in it.

Go to your closet.....Grab a metal coat hanger....cut it, bend it in a U shape, and insert into the hole ....

actually i found another way to do it. very easy too. I did it in my old 99 explorer with the same stupid clip needed for that.

the plastic holding ur headunit should pop off. just clips holding them in, once u pull it off you will have some room to play with it and you can see how the radio is held in, just push at it with a flat head screw driver i believe.

good luck

They sell those tools at almost any autoparts stores that sell cheap radios like Autozone. I've used 4 small allen wrenches in a pinch.
