Talking Just got my Wet Okole's :) :) :)

To anyone that's considering the Wet Okole seat covers, I just got mine in the mail today and am REALLY pleased. I guess you get what you pay for i.e. $305.00. These covers are the best I've ever seen; everything about them is top shelf!! Expensive, but worth it if you want to protect your sueade. I'll take some digital pics and post here A.S.A.P..

Hey BadBolt, when did you order your covers? I ordered mine on 6/20 so I probably have another week or two, can't wait. Well worth the money huh? Yea they told me $305.00 also with the SVT inserts.

I ordered on 6-14-2000. Sounds like you got about 6 more days. A word of warning, make sure you don't mess up the covers when you are fastening the straps on the bottom of the seats. There is grease everywhere on the seat rails. It would really suck to stain these covers right of the bat.

Hey BadBolt, got my okole's saturday morning, UPS man gave them to neighbor, installed them saturday afternoon. One question, did your covers conformto your seatbacks. Or did they just stretch across them and puff out a little. Hopefully mine will "break-in" and fit better. Other than that, a nice piece off workmanship.

Gator,

I've had my wet okole's for about three weeks now and Yes, they do stretch to comform to your seat. I bought them from a fellow 150online L owner.

one of the best purchases yet (Need chippage)

Yeah, they are puffy on the back area. That was the only thing that kept them from being perfect seat covers. I had a guy at Milan comment on how Ford must have changed the seats in my model year; now, that's a testimony of how well they fit and look.

Question

I just got mine as well. The gray matches the dash and interior perfectly. I also opted for the lightning bolt graphic. Very nicely done. Question for you guys who have already installed them. Did you tuck the covers under the plastic trim on the outer sides of the driver and passenger seats? It's a very tight fit and I'm afraid I'll snap the trim off if I force it. Thanks.

There are a couple of screws on the sides of the plastick panels that you can back out a bit to make it easier. Where the plastic curves around the front is rivited and can't be moved much. Just work it a bit and it should come out nice.

Here we go; three pics. I hope people don't have trouble with these showing. I can't reduce the image size smaller than 1024 x 768; I can only reduce the quality. The quality is set to medium. I don't have an imiage editor to reduce them either.

BadBolt,

You are the second person I saw that opted not to put on the jumpseat/armrest cover on. What gives? I did.

Spargo,

Yes, they cover the seat backs. Excellent fit!!

Jerry,

Nope, I have solid black and deal with midwest heat and humidity and had yet to have a case of scalded legs or back.

DEFINITELY WORTH THE $$.

Thanks for the pic's. They look great. I just got off the phone with Fred at Wet Okoloe and placed my order. Said it would take about three weeks.
