Bittersweet day

A year ago today a real good friend of mine passed away.

I'm leaving work early to go visit with his mom, and go by the cemetery to see him for a bit too. I'm also stopping in at the shop where he used to work, and reminisce for a bit, as well as discuss with the fabricator there the building of my turbo headers. I'm dedicating my truck project to him, since he had a lightning as well and that's how we met. Having my project finished at the same place where he used to spend his time is important to me.

I'm looking forward to seeing his mom since I know it how much it helps her to have Vinnie's friends visit, and it's nice to visit the cemetery when I get a chance, both are about an hour away from me in Boca, but I can't help but break down at least a couple times.

rest in peace Vinnie, I love ya and miss ya mang

Sad to see friends go like that. Too bad he chose the easy way out.
