Are you datalogging, or at least logging with a wideband?

 

You can try, but it's unlikely that you would hear it over the SC noise.

Like so many others, the first thing that you will hear is the rods clattering out the fresh hole in the block.

 

What's the skinny on the mafia.

I bought an SCT2400 maf, and it was a fiasco to get a tune for it with stock injectors. I finally sold it and got completely discouraged because with stock block, stock heads, ported blower, and 6lb lower, my a/f is up around 13.0 at WOT. I do have upgraded pumps. This happend in the fall in cooler temps, and a couple weeks about when it was 90 out.

A couple guys told me just slap one of those mafia's on there and i'd be fine. Do you need a re tune with the mafia?

I think running an 8lb lower is doable on a stock block as long as you have the maf and fuel tuned in. How long it was last......no guarantees.

For some reason, my a/f tapped out at about 15-16lbs of boost. Even with upgraded pumps. This was only at about 450 rwhp.

 

Ive been running the 8# for a couple weeks now and have hammered it several times with no ill effects YET! Im gonna take it to the dyno this weekend to check a/f ratio's. Im still a little leary of it and the power increase
really isnt that much more than the 4-2 combo. Well see.........
FULLBOOGIE-I am not useing any of those yet,but need to! Not hearing any detonation. I keep toluene in the tank mixed 3:1.
