I was doing some research on torque converters so I did a search and came up with this thread.

One question-What RPM did you launch at?

Also, has anyone else tried this converter and had the same results?

Hey Tom,

You must have a pretty strong truck to begin with to run those numbers out here in the heat. What track did you do your runs?

Ok I only have one question and it is the second most important of all (behind how much quicker will it make me). How does it act in everyday driving? I know there are a few others (like Noel for one) besides myself that drive our trucks 20,000 to 25,000 miles per year!

Is it a single or multi-disc unit? Are you running a trans temp gage? Any change in the temp? At the track or on the street?

Sort the data for NLOC and quit worrying about someone getting an update, talk about something being old and outdated, thats what I'm hearing from old members with expired cards.

I had contact with this particular person less than a year ago. And to be honest, he said they "S-T-R-E-T-C-H-E-D" the truth when releasing the artilce....LOL but then again, dont most magazine articles.
Hope this helps.

I personally run the stock convertor, and have for the last 44K on this old L. Never once a problem with it, and great every day drivability as well.
