Super Chicken
I'm also looking at showing my L and I have a question. Even though I've never driven my L in the rain (and never plan to) some rust has started showing up on some areas (like steering box, diff, etc) that were not painted or waxed from the factory. How are you dealing with this? I would appreciate any hints. Thanks.

Thumbs down

Hey 00'Black Lightning When I detailed the udercarraige of my cobra r models for shows I have tried most of the good liquid rust removers out on the market. did not like the results of any of them then I got a tip from someone online about using 0000 fine steel wool. well let me tell you that this is one of the best detailing tools i ever used. works on everthing with surface rust yet it is fine enough so it does not scratch. hope it helps you out. 95rcobra

Most shows don't get that pickie but what I done was flat black Rustoleum after the steel wool. Then spray with No Touch.
