Post computer intelligence

Typical South Florida weather, high heat and humitity (consistant)
Best time stock 14.3 several weeks of trying
with the airaid 14.1 first week no change, second week consistent 14.1's
with chip 14.0 ???? only had it one week. Speed went from 95 to 97
Question: Does the computer take some time to adjust to the chip? $350.00 is a lot of bucks for 1/10. Reading the posts indicate people are getting 3 to 6 tenths with the chip. Anything wrong with this picture?
The chip feels strong, shifts are dynamic, no more flat spot after 80 MPH????????????

I was told by both Superchips and Danny Swanson that it take a few 100 miles for the engine to really reap the benefits of a chip installation.

Ken

What are your 60 ft times
You are probobly spinning like crazy at launch. YOur L has more in it, see if you can get someone to watch the launch CLOSE up to see how much spin you are getting.
Good Luck

Doug

Doug, Normally I run 2.1, 2.2 sixty foot times. I was getting them down to 2.0 and a few hundreths short of 1.9 What is confusing is that even when I knocked a tenth off the 60 ft., the 1/4 still stayed 14.0 I'm going back on Weds if it doesn't rain and try again. thanks for the reply...Ken

Launch is EVERYTHING with a chipped L; put a lot of your concentration on the launch and you should see better results. A bad or mediocer launch will just kill your E.T.. Make sure you post followup on any improvements. Real interested.
