Lightning Tuner this is just going to be my opinion but the solution here seems to be to take the Big step and make PSP fulltime business. You should take all the orders that you have recieved to the bank and get a small business loan. In taking your past and future business to the bank this easily proves what that their money is to being spent upon. Everyone at some point in their life has to make the tough and sometimes scary decisions, however in your case Sal you do have the business. Sal make the commitment and open up PSP full time you will be happier owning your business and I know there would be alot of happy customers.

That would be hard, because he is Lightning specific. I think the main reason for the backlog is his (PSP's) newfound popularity on this board and the recent outpouring of 2000 Lightnings. Once this surge is over, things will probably be slow until 2001's arrive. I could be wrong, though.

I have to agree with DUCK on this one. I think PSP would make an awesome 'short term' business, but when L production ends, other product lines may need to be explored.

Hey GP, Sal here. Making PSP a full time business has been something I've considered for close to a year. It's a decision that pulls me both ways. I had planned on doing PSP full time by the end of this year. But now we are getting a house and getting married next month. So I really have to keep the security of the day job for a little while at least. Hopefully by next year PSP will be full time. I know that after we get the house, the garage and basement are getting set up so that I can more efficently make products. It's tough, but with the loyalty of my customers, I know that PSP will continue to grow into a business that all can benefit from.

SAl I made a mistake when I didn't order you PSP filter system. The reason was I could not wait,but i waited 7 months for my Lightning. Keep your head up and take one day at a time. I will wait for your chip this time.

I'm sick and tired of seeing all the whining about Sal's business. It's his business and he can run it as he damn well pleases and if you don't like it, tough s#@t. Go somewhere else. I susgest Sal, that you initiate a two tier pricing system. Regular price for the people that can read and have enough intelligence to follow the instructions on your website and double for all the other jerks!!!!

sounds to me taht some have a bad case of "have my cake and eat it too" syndrome. If you can't wait, go somewhere else.

 

If you can't wait months for your stuff, go talk to Mike Troyer (National Distributor of SuperChips). Immediate response, excellent performance, just like the SuperChip.

Maybe the chip isn't any better than Sal's, but if you want answers, advice, and an all-around good business experience, you know where to find it(MTroyer@compuserve.com).

I personally don't have the patience for Sal's BS. Sorry Sal, not trying to trash you... This little chip war started because you had to justify why you consistantly blow people off....

We all try to bring our projects, experiences, and constructive know-how to benefit each other. I don't think this cat-fight qualifies.

You know, I have been reading this lightning board
posts for over a year with very little posting myself except for information questions. I appreciate ALL THE POSTS,Yea's and NEY's, about alot of things CHIP's, FILTERS, etc.
What I don't understand is " HOW ANYONE THAT READS THESE LIGHTNING POSTS"can with a clear concience berate PSP or SAL more personally for something that you knew going in!!! IF you read the posts it was explained by SAL and many others that he has ANOTHER job (40 hrs.) and PSP is A SERIOUS SIDE LINE BUSINESS for him. GET IT!!!! That means that there "WILL BE A WAITING TIME" and NO,the e-mails,fax's and online orders DIDN'T vanish into CIBER-SPACE or HYPER-SPACE, neither'
I ordered my Full Bassani
Exhaust, Pre-Filter, Level 10 shift kit and 4-way chip on June 3rd, by fax, KNOWING FULL WELL I WOULDN"T GET IT FOR 4-6 WEEKS. GET A GRIP PEOPLE!!!! If it's been over 6 weeks-Fax Sal E-mail him or leave a message. IT WORKED FOR ME!!! All my parts are here, NOW!!!
S-S-S-O-O-O-O-!!! give the GUY A BREAK. Wait the alloted time for the BEST PARTS AVAILABLE (his times on other board members lightnings 12.75 Spiro99SVT last night Ciecl County Dragway i believe prove it!!!!) with out whinnig.
