Post To all vendors of Chips How do you..

When you send out a chip how do you identify it. By date burned and program used ? Any kind of code used to identify it ?

I have a SuperChip and can't seem to find which version it is. Are the chip makers
in the dark as to what chip is what and just reburn it to the current version ?

I sent in my chip for the new drag racing only version and just as I got it back a few complained about the shifting in drag racing only and was told they revised the program yet again. ****, now do I have to send it back again OR did I get the "revised" drag only program bured in to it? SuperChip is silent.

Have you put the chip in yet? If you have the soft shifts, it is the wrong one. Apparently the new version has the correct snappy shifts. You may have to call Mike on this though, he doesn't seem to call people back when you leave a message.

BTW- There should be a small sticker on the chip by the plug with the code on it, but I don't know what they are calling the new TRAC version.
