Im a married man going on my 32 year on this planet. Im "retierd" from work becaus of a muscular problem. Så Grombil.com is my way to give something back to all the car enthusiasts in my contry (And others)...

So to the truck... I havent done anything to it yet... I bougt it like that for a week ago. I hawe some plans and that inkludes custom flamejob (A lot like the decals but bigger and more classic... probably with som skulls inside the flames?) Tha "autometer" is as good as gone... wil mount some instruments on the left of the driverseat (On the "pole"...?). Then im going to take away the striping from the lid and back and airbrush a cool picture on the lid instead of the stripes... But the stripes in the front stays i think... maby even beeing painted on?!... The vertical doors obviusly stays. They took over a month to mount (I dont think they worked with it all the time!). Tha Volvo vings on the spoiler im not shure of yet... im not a fan of this kind of mods but i kind of likt these...:o i also am thinking of some spinners for the rims (Real pimp ride!)...

On the inside there is going to be some big changs.... well som adding of stereo that is... Iv got Soundstream as my sponsor and there are a big stereo lying around thats going to be mounted in the winter i think... Im not shure how to do this couse there are 2x 15" subbs... Tha plan for the other truck (My chevy 400SS) was to mount the stereos sub in the back and make some ports trough the wall of the cab... Im not so shure of this method on the lightning? ANyone hawe som tips ore even their own install to show me?

 

generally, if it down't improve the performance of the truck, we don't look favorable to the mods.

To each their own when it comes to cosmetic improvements.

 

I've seen worse looking trucks here. It's not the way I would have gone with the truck; but, I don't see anything wrong with it. To each their own.

To the guys making derogatory comments about the girls in the photos... You should have to post pics of your own ladies when cutting on someone else's. I'm sure that would get real interesting. Except for Tim of course, nobody wants to see any pictures of his hands.

I think the called it "tribal flames"? I`m thinking more like real flames old scool style with some skulls ore other stuff detailed into it... All in gray and black...

I personally do not like Lambo doors on anything but Lambos, but I can appreciate the fit and finish of the work that was done (from what you can see in a picture).

He said the tach was comng out and that he was going to install an A-pillar pod for gauges - cool.

As far as the negative comments about the girl, it's no wonder so many other countries have such a negative opinion about the USA. Guys: Tell me you would kick her out of your truck, especially if she was there for a little fun... Again, everyone has different tastes, but I think she is hot !!

He asked about modding the powertrain - only 1 person responded with any "positive" usable information ?? That's not like this place...

Start with a pulley, chip, air intake and a tune from someone that knows Lightnings. From what I have read and seen, big exhaust changes will net you very little power until you make more serious changes to the induction system, like a better supercharger, heads, cams, etc. (There may be plenty of folks to bash me on this, but I know what I read and see from all the folks who post here)

You didn't say if the truck has any traction assist devices on it - if not, you will definitely want something to help eliminate wheel hop, once you start boosting the power.

As far as the chin spoilers, I think they "work" with the overall theme of your truck - not my cup of tea, but to each his own.

Overall, the truck looks clean and sharp. Don't let all the negative posts discourage you from coming back and participating in this forum - there are lots of folks here who will be glad to help you !!

Personally, I am not a big fan of lambo doors on a truck but I do like the truck the way it sits. Its not my personal choice but I like it.

As far as the girl goes, If that girl was in front of any of us offering............You get the idea, not to many would pass it up.Some just wont admit it.

Id drive the truck hard and id drive the girl even harder
