Suspension - Discuss & Advice

Hiya Everyone,

I am in the process of now lowering it a little bit. This is what I have came up with.

Either JLP 4" Shackles for rear

vs

2.5 Hotchkis Leaf Springs & 2" Beltech (Both or Either Or)

Front would be

1.5" Hotchkis Drop Coils

Im really open for suggestions, I really don't want to use shock extenders and I feel I might have too, if I decide to go with 2.5 leafs & shackles. But I want to go for a lowered look but not look silly stupid.

I really do not want to spend an assload of cash on this, im thinking maybe tops $400 for everything at the most. Its bad enough the wifey is pissed about me modding it out.

Please Discuss!

Shackels are the cheapest way if you'll be content with just a level look.

4" JLP shackels here

I have a complete Belltech drop, and the ride quality is absolutely horrible! Thanks to the Chicken Man, I'll have the full Hotchkis on next week with Bilstein shocks. I'll let you know.

I don't know. He was kind enough to hold one for me when he had his free shipping deal because I was overseas. I know he's got the shocks though, just sent me a set today!

I have an 01'

When I use the jlp 4" I was told I would get roughly 2" drop, as opposed to if I used a 2.5 leaf spring I would get an actual 2.5.

Do you also think I should use the 1.5 front coil or leave it stock?
