Dave, the name is Skokos. Maybe next year you'll have a better turn out.

Spiro sorry my bad, but that S really looked like a J on the tech card Your truck ran
really impressive for its weight. As far as the turnout the people that did show up outshined the people that didnt come. We had some really great races and some very close ones too. I felt the lightning class was very
competetive. Next year I will add a bracket
class along with the heads up class. Not
everyone wants to race when they know they
will get waxed by a 12 second truck.

It was good meeting Sal and all the other
Lightning Truck guys.

Guys,

Have a couple questions:

Can we put an F150 "handle" to the names above (besides Spiro)?

Why such a weight discrepancy with these Lightnings unless some of you guys are Godzilla.

Dunbarton,

Why such a weight discrepancy? Some are using good drag racing logic and knowledge.... lighter truck better times. Remove the hitch, that is probably good for 100 plus pounds, remove front seat, another 40 pounds, remove the jack and spare tire, 50-60 pounds or so. Remove sway bar, 20 or so pounds. Get the idea?

Run skinny tires up front and slicks in back.

12.XX can be had with just a just a chip and filter.
