Baby Jake,
Use to fly the F-4C/D/E. Rotate at 155 and T.O. at 165. Lannded at 190 plus 2 knots for every thousand lbs. of fuel. Theory proved.... having enough thrust will make a rock fly.... but the sucker will not glide well with no power LOL.
Nathan's fly by was spectaculor with the supercharger whining like a jet engine. We must come of with a pharse for the sound. Can't use the "The sound of freedom" because that one belongs to military jet fighters. What does anyone reading this post think the sound should be called????

I can't readily find them on the board, so I'll ask. What mods do you have on your '99, Nathan? The sound is quite impressive, so I was wondering if you had an intake. If so, which one?

Thanks, m'man.

I e-mailed the link to my kid, who lives on Oahu's North Shore. His response was, "Nathan's crazy." My response was, "Then what do you call someone who gets his jollies hanging from a flimsy kite four stories up over shark infested waters?" I hope that put him on quiet.

Nathan -

The words you heard in the video "Dude, he's cruisin!" along with the whoop at the end were courtesy of my 19 year-old red head. And I must tell those who watched the video that it doesn't do the actual run justice.

That was amazing! I've never heard that sound from outside the cab. It would be
a great commercial. No spoken words just
that pass & the letters SVT on the screen.
P.S. Slick looking site Mike. Rhinos really
are almost blind huh?

Yeah, I have to agree with Sixpipes - the video clip is great, but the WHOSH that was experienced as he went by can't be explained in words or video. We were sitting in our truck as he flew by, and the truck SHOOK so hard I couldn't belive it (takes alot to shake a 5000 pound truck!).

I can't get over how well the video came out!
Very well done!
