This is an info only post, I am not trying to sell any as they are pretty much pre-sold anyway.

We just received our first dozen of the black Buragos today. They are all correct, in that they have eliminated the incorrect chrome accents that I have read about on the board. In other words, they are as accurate as the origonal red versions that have been available for some time now.

Hopefully, those of you that own/want to own black ones should be able to source an accurate one locally or through the net.

For those of you wishing to change color/s, we have done several in my store by using Westlys White Wall Cleaner, full strength, to strip the original paint off the body.

Submerge the parts you wish to strip in a bucket or similar overnight. Most of the paint will come off, that which does not can be removed with a rag or toothbrush or similar method.

Wash the parts thoroughly in warm soapy water and let dry.

Prime the parts with either a white or grey primer (Testors, Tamiya or similar), let dry for 24 hours and then spray on the color of your choice. Our best results have been with Tamiya primer and color coats. Their spray cans give a primer and color coat as close to airbrushing as I have seen in many years of painting all sorts of models and RC vehicles.

Hope this helps a bit.

Bill

Same here, Ordered my Saleen S-351 from exoticar.com. Ordered it on the internet on the night of the 21st, recieved it 8am on the 26th. So 2 1/2 working days? Since most people close early on Saturdays. Was very pleased with the service I recieved.

Finally got my black L from Exoticar a couple of weeks ago. Only 7 months after I ordered it! Looks very nice, however.
