nice

rotors are great, but don't buy the ones with painted hubs, the paint peels off really quick.

I have been running the slotted/dimpled ones for about a year and like them a lot. No problems at all.

Couple of guys on NHTOC board have had issues with the paint flaking off.
Richard @ RotorPros has offered to take care of those with issues and also said that the annodized ones may be better suited for our heavy trucks. Or something to that fact.

what pads do they recommend?

I don't like lifetime pads, as they are very hard material. Kevlar, ceramic pads will eat the rotors before they wear down.
The stock ones are alright, but Kinda dusty.

I'd like a pad that works while cold. A lot of the high performance pads need heat in them to work. I had a set of Carbon Fiber and a set of kevlar ones, and in the morning I'd run the stop sign, trying to stop, as the pads were cold.

I don't do auto-X and go to the track once/twice/year. so nothing too fancy.

RotorPros sell pads or you can go with Hawk brake pads.
