Talking 15 Inch Drag Wheel Information

Many of you have asked about the 15 inch wheel for drag racing. This is the story. The wheel is made by Bassett Wheel www.bassettwheel.com and requires a special adapter to fit the Lightning. Additionally, both Bob and I had to modify the rear calipers and the dust shield for clearance. If this does not scare some of you off and you would like to try this modification I will make a photo album available to detail the steps. I will also be modifying some calipers and can have adapters available. The adapters are build by a racing supplier to my specifications and the calipers are genuine Ford parts that have been modified. Upon rework I then either powder coat or ceramic coat them. I am not looking for a business venture, I did this to prove a point and to put a large diameter slick on the back of the Lightning. Again if any of you are truly interested and want to pursue this just send e-mail. Please no BS, I can get enough here.

I saw HIGH RISK's setup at Milan on Wednesday and was TOTALLY impressed with the look and finish. The wheels just look right. It's a great setup. I love the gold adapter look. I went to the web site; are the wheels the Bassett ring style 15 x 10 wide-five?

15x12's will fit for the extremist. Perhaps if "someone" was thinking of a trans. brake it would be necessary.
Hey, I won't be happy til I break something.
