Is the cover easy to remove?

Does the cover leak?

Did you paint it to match? My L is black, and I was wondering how the factory paint matches.

Does it lock?

If you had to do it all over again would you choose that cover or the snuglid?

 

Sorry for the delay in answering, it's been a really busy day. Yes, it's easy to remove. Just lift it up to 90 degrees and slide it forward off the full length hinge. It leaks slightly. It's not designed to be completely watertight. A very small amount of water comes in at the front corners, but that's it. Had mine painted, and honestly don't know what it looks like unpainted, since mine was already painted the first time I saw it. Does it lock? Sorta. It does not have a key type lock. Once closed it is secured with two bungees like the hood locks on a CJ series Jeep. Then you lock the tailgate. It could be pried open, but it would take some work. I'm very happy with it, and wouldn't trade for anything else. Hope this helps.
