Unhappy 20" 03-04 style wheel experience

Well, after trying and pleading with Wheelreplicas.com to produce the 03-04 style wheels in chrome 20's as they did for the previous style/model years, it seems it's never going to happen. They've told me there just isn't or wouldn't be a market for them. Makes you wonder why would they produce the previous wheels then in the first place? This included the 01-02 style on two separate occasions.

I guess I'll bight the bullet and forget about it. It seems it's not going to happen unless a deferent company decides to step in. I really like the 03-04 style and would have loved to see them in 20's. I think I'll go with Ford Racing's 18" chromies now. I'm sure they are better quality anyway.

I have been looking for the 03/04 chrome Ford Racing wheels all week and they seem to be sold out. I have talked to buyfordracing.com, LFP, and searched the web. They were being sold on Ebay for $799 a set but I found out the seller was actually buyfordracing.com. If you find some let me know.

I noticed the same thing. Did fordracing say they're getting any more in? Seems like they've been popular. I can't imagine they'd stop with the 03-04 style and keep selling the 99-00, which not many have been buying.

Buyfordracing.com said they did not know when or if they would get another shipment. I left them my name and number and told them to call me if they get any. I'll let you know if I get a call.

I can't believe the week I decide to buy them they were sold out. I even have a local buyer for my 02 stock rims. I doubt he will wait very long and I'll lose an easy sale.

Please do Rio. Can you email/pm me when you know if they're available? I better jump on a set before they're gone for good.

It doesn't make since that they would just stop production/selling the 03-04 style. It's been the most popular style and they charge more for them than the 00-99 (which they still sell).

Yeah, they must be over stocked on 99-00 rims because they run them on Ebay every 2-3 days. I still like the 01-02 in chrome but I wanted the 03-04 just for a change. The person I talked to at buyfordracing.com sounded like they could give a damn about helping me. I'm going to try to get in contact with someone at Ford next week and see what they say about getting another run. I think they will make them again, it's just a matter of time.

I almost ordered some Boyd Coddington Smoothie II's but I'd get tired of having to polish them. My wife wants me to but some bling-bling type wheels on it but I'm to old for that. I think the chrome stockers look pretty good and they are easy to maintain.

These are close enough noone would know the difference, and they come in 20x9 and 5x135mm bolt pattern too.
