Unfortunately there are a lot of trucks out there that could have entered, but couldn't due to the date that are making some serious power. Not to start anything, but more power than some that probably entered. The magazine editors need to take that into account. Good luck to the guys that entered.

Each participant is allowed to bring 1 or 2 people.

Someone sounds a little butt-hurt about it.

I thought you were broke and couldn't afford to keep the turbo setup, but now an aluminum motor appears?

They can't change the date just because one possible entrant's truck isn't finished yet, I'm sure there are about a dozen trucks across the country in various stages of completion that could compete, should we wait for all of them too?

Silly, I just wanted it on a weekend instead of a Tuesday. But, MM&FF wants to run in Jersey and the track is booked which I understand. Justing letting MM&FF that there are quite a few badazz trucks out there...... I am sure I speak for a lot of other people. Not everyone can just take off on Tuesdays like you......

On a side note: For the power that I was putting down with it a turbo it wasn't simply feasible to keep it on a street driven truck. Remember my goal is fastest street driven truck that is daily driver capable. As far as an aluminum block, there is just a lot of information that you don't know. So one should keep quiet about something that they don't know the truth about--trying to say it in a polite way since you want to be sarcastic and rude.

Aside from the A/C delete your truck seems perfectly streetable to me? Just put race fuel in it to run high boost

I don't mean to be rude but it seemed like you were pulling a Rob02 on everyone here. Consider it a misstep on my part and I hope you accept my apology.

I can't take tuesday off and I sure as hell can't go to New Jersey but I don't place too much importance on being able to run in a magazine shootout. Sure it'd be nice, but I'm not going to get worked up over it.

im sure when mm&ff chose the trucks they took into consideration durability,,,what good would a shootout do if half the trucks broke
