Post Star Washers help!!!

I have checked the botom front where the bolt moves that causes miss alignment. And checked out earlier posts regarding this. Does anyone know where i could get the star washers or any part no's. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Or any advice on modifications i can do to keep it from movin'. lol.

Unhappy

I am waiting for the dealership to call me back after spending a big part of the day getting it fixed then the tech call SVT to get part # SVT was closed. The service manager stated he would call and find out. There is NO TSB on the problem so there is no part # to give. SVT states that it is only a very small amount of L with the problem. Just got off the phone with SVT and he stated that just have the Tech go to the parts and get a STAR washer that fits the shaft the bolt.

I tried a search on their web site I can't find it. I e-mailed them and said no such number.

Question

Cobra, I got my cam bolt kit from Specialty Products. I do not know why but they do not list the part on their web site. You can call the toll-free number on their web site and they will verify the p/n, as well as refer you to a dealer (they do not sell direct). I believe the p/n that Thunder gives is correct. The Specialty kit is way cheaper than the one you can buy from Ford. Cost me something like $44 + CA tax.

Unlikely that your dealer has a 5/8" I.D. star washer, TM, since it isn't a part that normally comes on any Ford vehicles. And I found out that places like Home Depot don't stock such large ones, either. I got mine at Industrial Bolt and Supply here in Ventura; you will probably have to go to a similar place in your area. Cost me $0.50. While you are at it I would highly recommend that you have a cam bolt kit installed.
