My build date is 3/17/00, the tranny is # 1235 build date is 3/20/00 and engine is build date 3/13/00.
Yes, the truck was built 3 days before the transmission, no the datre is not wrong.
On another note, 1999 Model Lightning, Factory Test Bed (built before and in addition to the 4000 of the production run) is going to be posted for sale soon, sometimes the test beds are fixed price, sometimes they auction them, anyone got an opinion what it would be worth. The documentation will prove the truck's history as a test bed, it has less than 7,000 miles on it.
