Thumbs up Interesting mod. info !

Hi guys, I saw a 99 L at a friend of mines garage that has a dyno jet. This guy dropped the L and said do what ever you want to it just make it fast. My friend is not a dealer of any manuf. and only installs what people bring in to have installed on thier sports cars or trucks. So anyway they dynoed the truck stock a got 323 HP RW. Not bad at all. They added two flowmaster muff. kept all the rest of the exhaust stock. A pulley from eaton not sure what size but eaton said it wouldn't damage the blower. And also a pro-m with a K&N and that's it. Dynoed again 402 HP RW. I was very suprised and impressed. I know this may be hard to believe but I was there for the numerous runs he made and I wouldn't of believed it if I didn't see it. I am not trying to sell or take sides of any of the mods. metioned I am just sharing some info on a awesome truck......

Holy smokes Batman,

Lets break this out,

I also made 325 RWHP and 350 RWHP chiped.

PRO-M MAF good for maybe 30 RWHP so say 380.

Puley not sure but I remember 20 RWHP so 400 RWHP.

Flowmasters probably 0-2 RWHP.

So this all adds up, if you forgot to include that the L was chiped.

BTW do you have a contact name and number?

Frank, Appreciate it if you could find out information on pulley. Ask your friend how much installed. Jim

Frank

I'm also interested in more details if you can get them. Where are you located in Illinois?

Thanks

Hi guys I will get some info A.S.A.P I'm trying to get back to work and don't have alot of time durring the day. I can tell you it isn't an easy job. The oil and snout of the blower must be removed and it's a good deal of work. But I think it might be worth it. If I'm correct in remembering you do have to keep the stock shift points and rev limit. So you don't over rev the blower. But anyway I'll be back soon with some info......
