1st auto-x!!!!

just did my first auto-x event on sunday!! i dont see me drag racing anymore. if you have not done one of these events you need to do one. this was my 1st chance to test my new suspension parts out. i had just installed 1200 coil springs and hotchkis leafs. also svt_ky let me use his hoosier slicks for this event. the combo of the springs and race tires made my truck so much more stable. we were on a slick parking lot and a tight course. by my last pass i was about mid pack. the fastest cars were open wheel carts in the 36 sec range. my best pass was 40.8 sec so i think i did okay since i am a rookie and was driving a truck. i must say everyone loved the truck. my wife was in the crowd taking some pics and she said everyone was talking about the truck. on a side note there was a stock 04 L there and the best pass i saw him do was in the mid 44 sec range. and talk about a diff. in the way my truck sounds compaired to a stock L. between the steig. ported eaton, bassani mids, and magnaflow catback my truck was sounding . can not wait for the rest of my suspension mods.
