SUNDAY MORNING DRIVE WITH MY FRIENDS MY FIRST TIME AND THE ONLY AMERICAN CAR AROUND GROUP CONSISTED OF A PORSCHE GT3, 2-993 TWIN TURBO'S, 2-BOXTERS, 1-TESTARROSSA, 1-SPIDER. WE GET ON THE RAMP ON TO THE SKYWAY. STARTED INTHE BACK THINKIN NOT TO BLOCK THE FASTER CARS. EVERY ONE PULLS AWAY EXEPT THE TWO BOXTERS WE GET UP TO 2ND GEAR THE BOOST GUAGE PEGGED, IN TO THIRD AND EM STILL BEHIND THE 2 BOXTERS AS WE HIT 130 MPH MY NOSE RIGHT UP BEHIND ONE OF THE BOXTERS I WAIT AND NOTICE THIS GUY AINT PULLING SO I PULL TO THE LEFT AND FLOORED IT, PULLED UP NEXT TO THE GUY, HE LOOKS AT ME. LOOKS AT HE'S SPEEDO THEN LOOKS AT ME AGAIN AS I PASSED HIM!!! I THOUGHT YEAH DIDNT THINK I'D BE PASSING ANYONE IN THIS GROUP. JUST THOUGHT I'D SHARE WHAT OUR BABY CAN DO. LET ALONE AGAINST SPORTSCARS!!!!! ANYONE KNOW WHAT MODS I CAN DO FOR TOPEND AND BETTER HANDLING FOR THE REAR?

Funny thing is you can buy 3 lightnings for the price of the Carrera

Wow, on the track!! How far away was the boxter s from you? What kinda carrera was it? Same thing they were saying is that we didnt have to dosh out nearly half the dough and got better perf!

 

They are both co-workers. Unfortunately I never ran side by side with either of them. We were in staging lanes side by side but each time something went wrong with track or someone broke in front of US. It was a slow night. I beat the Boxster S by 4 10ths and the "Carrera 2" by 1 1/2 tenths.

In thier defense both of them likely didnt dump the clutch at 4000 to get a great launch. I dont blame them
