I think your one of the only people i've ever seen that had problems with it fitting

Price is a little on the high side, but you get what you pay for.

I hope all the hardware is stainless.

I love when you buy stainless products and they send standard zinc hardware

I think your one of the only people i've ever seen that had problems with it fitting My only gripe with the JDM system is the ARP collector bolts they send. Once they are on....they aren't comming off unless you snap them or sawzall them. I installed them on my old man's truck. Then we had to take the system off when he traded it in............forget it. My truck and my buddies..........bolts went right in the barrell. Wasn't playing that game again.

Well I agree with the "Wont come off" but you would soon winge on here if those bolts came loose on the day yer racing and you got a lowered truck with no room to swing a cat....

My system from JDM fitted 1st time two years ago and has been refitted twice following engine swap and then cat & egr removal ( I love the squeal when you cut the cat )

As a fastener guy you really don't want stainless hardware on your exhaust. On the collectors the cheap old grade 2 stuff is the best. Easy to twist off when it's time to remove. Plenty strong to hold everything. Stainless will actually "weld" itself together with the heat. Talk about tough to remove. The zinc plated stuff will end up rusting at some point but it's cheap and easy to replace. On the headers either plain steel or zinc/cad plated is the best choice. Threading a stainless bolt into an aluminum head is a very good way to create galvanic corrosion. The only thing you really want out of 300 series stainless are the headers, mufflers, cats, and tubing. Stainless washers are fine but not really a benefit.

Johnny, a while back when you were first talking about this system, you said that it would bolt right up to an existing catback system. Is this still the case? I have a Bassani catback with X pipe and would like to keep it. Would the headers and midpipes in this system bolt up to my X pipe without modification? In other words, could I bolt it together in my driveway or would it require a trip to an exhaust shop.

The system will eventually bolt up to the bassani 2.5" cat back with adapters but not at the moment..once we get this system rolling then we'll address that issue...JL
