Full Slick Allowed Friday nights at NED

Anyone who goes to New England Dragway, as of this week, they are permitting full slicks to be used on Friday nights. Still have to have muffler though. From what I understand, they will be prepping the right hand land and stagine cars with slicks and dot slicks only. No street tires.

This is cool for me because I usually work weekends and bought full slicks and can't race on weeknights, plus on street night, they don't prep the track. Apparently the finally listened to the complaints.

Its funny you say they dont prep the track on street nights at NED. They put at least 10-15 times more traction compound down on street nights than my hometown track does on the full out drag days. On slicks up here in Maine I average at best 2.0-2.2 60' times and I went to NED once and ran 1.7's all night. I can't wait to try the track now that they are going to have better prepping.
