Well I dropped the Lightning off at the Auto Body shop yesterday to have a Cobra Hood put on, front end repainted (including bumper) and a new windshield which had tons of pits.

Waiting on the smooth wiper cowl covers from the online store and that will complete my front end make over.

Installed the clear corners a couple weeks ago and also put in the super white lights.

Now, when this is all done and I manage to save up some money I might put a 2" drop kit in.

This toy is really fun but turning out to be expensive!

I am interested in the white lights for my L as well. Do you have a part number for those? I would like to replace my headlight bulbs as well as the fog light bulbs. HANKFAN

99BLCKL - Let me know what you think after you get the smooth wiper cowl installed. I'd like to see some pics showing fit if you can. I had one on my 00 but took it off due to the poor fit and a bad paint job. The one I had is the same one you can get from the on-line store but it came from a different source. I put the smooth cowl on a week or so ago. Bought from the online store. My painter friend did a great job. However if you expect perfection from a fiberglass piece you may be disappointed. The ends of the piece don't really have any way to anchor them other than an ear that could be drilled an screwed to something if they weren't down and behind the fenders when installed. The rubber seal on the top edge of the factory cowling isn`t long enough for the new peice. approximatly 2 inches short on either end when centered. Other that the ends not aligning with the fender-hood-windshield jucntion it does look good. there is some warpage in one area behind the passenger side windshield wiper shaft. That could be just on this specific piece. All in all not a bad addition. The ends may take a bit of shimmming but I believe I'll get it somewhat better aligned.
I used some black gasket glue to glu the factory hood seal to the piece,which worked very well.
