sequential order of things
I am trying to decide in what sequence to add different mods.
1. have a chip programmed for the anticipated mods and then begin to order the mods.
2. order the chip now (somewhat standard) have fun with it until I have to send it back for a reburn.
3. do the whole shebang at one time and totally decimate the bank account.
I plan to (I have a air raid) do exhaust, chip and NOS and whatever else I can't resist. Any input would be most appreciated.....Ken

No expert, but things that might require a reburn.
GEAR (or special tires)
MAF
NOS
transmission work (possibly)
I have been told headers, cat-back, filter
etc. would NOT require a reburn of your Chip.

After you air kit, order a flip chip (performance#1, nitrous #2) that way you can enjoy the perf mode and decide if you want to order the dedicated 80-125 lightning "NOS" kit that will be out soon. exhaust, so far has proved to be the "playing cards in your spokes" mod, but with grown-up money, worst bang for the buck,
these trucks are still too new to buy everything at once. there is something better in the works every day. take your time IMHO, it's fun to see the ups guy bringing you new toys on a weekly basis

I went with the Airaid airbox and K&N filter mod right away. Easy to install and does wonders for resonating the blower
Then I replaced the stock muffler with 2/2 chamber Flowmasters. Gives the L that characteristic ROAR at WOT. Now it makes heads (and ears) turn. I'm holding off on the chip for a while. Oh and by the way, don't forget the Zaino. Protection for your investment, especially in South Fla. I grew up in Lauderdale. Went to Northeast HS. Worked as a valet at the Mai Kai. Had a blast!!
