4.10's and PI Stall!!!

Was wondering if anyone has 4.10's and a stall? If so, what size stall, how do you like it on the street/strip?

Also, if you are under the 500/600 mark and want to run 28" tall hoosiers, do you find yourself running out of RPM?

Thanks guys

I was using the taller 30" tire with the 4.10's at the 500-600 mark, on the stock block.

4.10's, 30" tire (96" dia), 600-700, 125mph and 6000 rpm 1/4 mile.
That's when the 3.73's went in.

I think im going to stay with the 3.55's for gas mialge purposes and invest in a 26-2800 stall. Ill be below 500/650 mark for a while...just want to ge the most out of my truck for the time being.

If you are worried about gas mileage don't buy a stall converter.

Im not so worried about gas prices as I am running out of RPM at the strip. I think 4.10's and a stall on the street would be alot of fun but at some point, i plan to drive this thing everday and see the track occasionally. Im not sure how 4.10's would act if I had/wanted to jump in the truck and go 300 miles or more..... With longtubes/no cats/ and bassani...its pretty loud now on the highway when just cruising.

I do plan on getting a LB built for it in the future (couple of years) and dont want to get 4.10's and have to re-do it and get 3.73's or even go back with 3.55's for more highway use.

Im still contemplating because I have to get my diff. swapped out anyways to an eaton and 4.10's by Motive are only 200 bucks. It might be fun since they already have them out to go ahead and make the switch to 4.10's just to have fun on the street.

FOR THOSE WHO HAVE 4.10's: How hard is it to hook on the street with pw/tqr numbers around 460/575?

I beg to differ. No adverse effects with my 2,600 TD stall.
